So it's the time of year once again. The only difference being is that I'm actually in the UK this year, so will no doubt get woken up by my little sisters and the like early tomorrow morning =/

Today, I've woken up to find the kitchen busy with people getting ready to go out, mum and Nikita making mince pies, and a general fuss over finding the bin bags. I quickly disappeared after having breakfast to realise that it's going to be much worse tomorrow. The past two years have been fairly quiet, but I guess the more people there are, the more fuss there is, especially if there are younger kids involved. There were Sez's cousins (or were they nieces... I always forget, I just remember names), Holly, Kirsten and... Co! *cough* There was another, right Sez? =/ Either way, they were about, but that was after we went to Sez's nan's for the big family gathering. Don't get me wrong though, it's nice to spend it at home for a change, but I will miss xmas in Aus too. Although I suppose circumstances would have been difference this year too anyway, even if I was in Aus. Oh well, take it as it comes, I guess.

Michaela and Nikita keep going on about Santa. Why? We already know they don't believe anymore, it's stupid... They have this reasoning that they know he's not real, but "maybe he is because mum and dad wouldn't be able to afford all that stuff..." I think they're trying to trick themselves in to believing. Come on though, Michaela's in high school now, she can't keep pretending he's real without getting bullied! Nikita won't shut up about wanting a laptop too. I've told mum to give Michaela her's and not Nikita just so I can watch her disappointment. Yes, I'm evil, but she's really done my head in with it over the last few days, so... Maybe I should get up early just to see that? Mum's putting them under the tree though, so they won't be opened until a bit later in the morning (as opposed to their 'bags' that they open first thing). Kind of 'Santa presents' are in the bag, presents from everyone else are under the tree sort of thing.

Doesn't look like there'll be snow as always. Very mild weather this week. We had a bit of a snow a couple of weeks back, but I doubt we'll seen that again for a short while. I've seen snow in April afterall, so the cold will come and go in the typical British style. A bit like Melbourne with snow in the middle of summer :P

Anyway... Merry Ex-Mass to those who actually read this! I'll no doubt be ranting again tomorrow after all the running around :P
